Job summary

The purpose of the role is to predominately provide service support for Community Services colleagues using SystmOne to manage the patient information and ensure that their needs and that of the service are met; playing an important part in supporting the software required to deliver key NHS targets and to support the needs of our patients.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Support Technician. The candidates will be a highly motivated team players who enjoys working in a complex, fast moving, and challenging environment. You must have excellent customer service skills and be confident communicating with professionals at all levels as you will be expected to work collaboratively with internal and external agencies.

As a key member of the team you will play a pivotal role in providing customers with help, advice and operational systems support for our Community Services colleagues.

Main duties of the job

The Team provides technical support for the Trust's Community System of choice which includes the deployment of pro-active problem management techniques and monitoring and event management. The post holder will be responsible for providing a range of support and installation services to the Trust.

The Informatics Directorate provides a full information, communication, and technology service that is aligned to the STH corporate strategy from ward to Board level, ensuring Trust wide compliance with data governance legislation and NHS standards.

The Directorate plays a key role in leading and supporting technological modernisation across the organisation, driving changes that will improve performance and efficiency in all areas of clinical and corporate service delivery across the Trust.
