Job summary
An opportunity has arisen within the Orthodontic department at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital
This role is to provide a comprehensive and efficient Medical Secretarial service to the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital consultants, patients and all other uses of the service. This will involve the co-ordination of typing of clinical corresponsive within set time limits and the delegation of duties to secretarial support staff.
You'll help to provide secretarial and admin support to Consultants and other clinical staff within the Orthodontic department.
Main duties of the job
Provide a quality Medical Secretarial service within the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital. In addition to working collaboratively with the existing Medical Secretaries to ensure parity across the secretarial function.Co-ordination of typing across specialties and the delegation of duties to support secretarial staff to meet Trust typing deadlines and any other administration duties.
All duties to be carried out in accordance to the Trust and Directorate policies and guidelines

The Charles Clifford Dental Hospital is a dental teaching hospital linked to the Sheffield University School of Clinical Dentistry, which has an intake of undergraduate and postgraduate trainees on an annual basis. The hospital provides dental outpatient services for the Sheffield catchment area and in addition provides specialist services in all departments to patients from a much wider area.
