This is an exciting post which plays a key role supporting the Trust's patient experience agenda.
The Patient Experience and Engagement Officer will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support for patient feedback and engagement activity across the Patient Experience team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.
Please note that this is a part time role at 0.6 WTE (22.5 hours per week).
Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive and effective administrative and clerical support across the Patient Experience and Engagement team, supporting with all aspects of patient feedback intelligence, including, but not limited to: the Friends and Family Test; the National Patient Survey Programme; the Trust's programme of local surveys; the Trust's Engagement Network; online sources of patient feedback data; and ad hoc requests.
To contribute to the delivery and development of the Trust's Patient Experience and Engagement priorities.
To support Patient Feedback and Engagement activity across the team.
To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service and demonstrate STHs 'PROUD' values of People focused, Respect, Ownership, Unity, and Delivery.

Essential
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C (or equivalent) or above, or equivalent experience
- Educated to Level 3 NVQ in customer services or related subject plus, extensive experience in a customer facing service dealing with complex and/or sensitive enquiries, which would equate to a Level 4 qualification.
Desirable
- Accredited qualification in Microsoft applications e.g. Excel, Access

- Relevant experience of secretarial/ administrative role within a large complex organisation
- Experience of inputting data accurately
- Experience of collating and preparing information for use in reports/presentations using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience of working with professionals across multi-disciplinary teams
Desirable
- Relevant experience of working in a patient/customer-facing role
- Experience of working within the NHS or Healthcare setting

- Ability to communicate clearly at all levels in writing, verbally and face to face
