Job summary
A exciting development for two self motivated and flexible Pelvic Health Physiotherapists to join the existing Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will be working at Royal Hallamshire and Jessop maternity wing but as Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a multi-site organisation, you may be required to work at any of the Trust sites or community facilities.
There are two B6 posts available: 30-37.5hours/week (over 4 or 5 days/week) and 21-28hours/week (over 3 or 4 days/week).
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be part of the existing Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, providing clinical care to antenatal and post-natal patients and people with pelvic floor dysfunction.
The post holder will have a specialised clinical caseload including the management of obstetric, gynaecology, urology, urogynaecology, colorectal and pelvic pain patients. This will include work with inpatients, outpatients and group work.
The post holder will also work with and supervise Therapy Assistants and students. The post holder will be supported by a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist specialising in Pelvic Health.
To fulfil the duties of this post candidates should have attained a level of experience in Pelvic Health proportionate to the competencies detailed in the Job Description and Person Specification and demonstrate post registration clinical and leadership experience.
