Job summary

This role is within our Learning, Education and Development Department to support all aspects of the Healthcare Careers Function.

This role will be pivotal within the team and will work on a variety of projects across our workstreams which include; apprenticeships, employability and school engagement.

This role will also work closely with Human Resources and Procurement teams within Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and external stakeholders.

Main duties of the job

To successfully complete Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship as part of the role.

Commit to the duration of the apprenticeship and attend/complete all essential training requirements.

To provide administration support for all aspects of the Learning Education and Development Department (LED) Healthcare Careers team.

To provide efficient administration support for various projects led by the LED Healthcare Careers (HCC) team, in particular Apprenticeships, Employability and School Engagement.

To take the lead on projects within the LED HCC Team

To provide day to day management and monitoring of the Healthcare Careers mailboxes.

To provide day to day monitoring of the Apprenticeship Tracking Spreadsheet, Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS - Government online database) and ensure compliance with ESFA Apprenticeship funding rules

To ensure all communication platforms are up to date, this includes the learning management system - PALMS, Sharepoint and STH website.

  • Experience of Microsoft applications eg Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Teams
