Each site has 1 admin assistant. Our administration role is key to this service, and we need someone who is motivated, experienced, organised, confident with data management, and possesses great customer service skills.
The post holder will be key to supporting the nursery manager in the business administration of the nursery. The main focus of the role is on general office duties specifically the financial processes using excel and management of the nursery electronic database system Parenta. It also includes supporting the management of the placement process and being instrumental in communicating effectively with new users arranging visits and start dates.
Main duties of the job
- Daily responsibility for organising financial and HR information using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Maintaining the nursery electronic database systems, recording children's attendance, generating invoices and recording payments.
- To maintain and develop systems in light of new requirements or availability of technology.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service.
- To keep up to date with government direction regarding funding for childcare and any other related childcare issues.
- Liaise with other parties i.e., payroll, finance or City Council to address issues relating to fees this will include challenging incorrect or missing data and highlighting any irregularities.
- Oversee the number of child placements across site; using the nursery electronic database system and assist with the completion of paperwork as required.
- Design and produce reports regarding activity and income as required.
- Arrange visits to the Nurseries for potential customers.
