An exciting opportunity is now available in Musculo-skeletal (MSK) PhysioWorks. This is an MSK outpatient post based across multiple sites within the city of Sheffield.
Physioworks is a community based Musculoskeletal Service consisting of approximately 60 staff including a podiatry MSK team.
PhysioWorks is an 8am -8pm service and you may be asked to work an evening clinic.
You will receive training, teaching, supervision and mentoring from highly experienced practitioners and will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on progressive, evidence-based practice, clinical effectiveness, and research. There will be an opportunity to contribute to the Integrated Pain Team.
We are looking for a highly motivated Physiotherapist with a progressive, flexible attitude and a willingness to learn. You will have post-registration NHS experience sufficient to acquire core competencies in physiotherapy practice MSK conditions.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for delivering high quality, specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment and is responsible for supervision and teaching of therapy staff and students. They will contribute to operational management and service improvement and participate in audit and service evaluation in order to measure, evolve and develop clinical practice.
