Job summary
We are looking to recruit a Consultant Radiologist with a specialist interest in Interventional Uroradiology within the Medical Imaging and Medical Physics Directorate of the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and Northern General Hospital.Applications from those unable, for personal reasons, to work on a whole time basis or a job share basis will be considered.Should any further vacancies arise, shortlisted candidates will be considered.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join the existing team of 2 Consultant Uroradiologists as part of the broader team of 49 Radiologists within the Imaging directorate. The appointee will be responsible for the provision of uroradiology and general Imaging. A wide range of diagnostic and interventional uroradiological services including ultrasound, CT and MRI of the urinary tract are provided by the imaging department.The appointee must have full GMC registration, and hold a CCT in Clinical Radiology or have a CCT date, within 6 months of the date of interview. Research is encouraged and full facilities are available.

- Full and Specialist registration (with a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC), or be eligible for registration within six months of interview.
