Job summary
We are looking to recruit a Consultant Radiologist with an interest in Breast Imaging within the Medical Imaging and Medical Physics Directorate of the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, predominately based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital (RHH), Sheffield.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join the existing team of 5 Consultant Breast Radiologists as part of the broader team of 49 Radiologists within the Imaging directorate. The appointee will, together with consultant colleagues, be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive Breast Imaging service to the Trust. The Breast Services Team is cohesive and strives to provide high quality services. It comprises 4 breast surgeons, 5-6 breast care nurses, radiographers, medical and clinical oncology consultants, a research nurse, radiographers and breast screening clerical staff.
The successful candidate must have full GMC registration, and hold a CCT in Clinical Radiology or have a CCT date, within 6 months of the date of interview.Research is encouraged and full facilities are available.
