- Professionally qualified or a relevant degree, plus significant project or programme management experience or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
- Educated to MSc level or equivalent in Economics, Health Economics or a closely related discipline, or equivalent research, industrial or commercial experience
- Knowledge of the specialist work practices and/ or professional guidelines relevant to the Health Innovation Wessex's area
Desirable

- Knowledge and experience of the NHS and local health and social service functions
- Experience of using statistical packages and an understanding of Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence.
- Considerable experience of applying techniques from health economics disciplines and specialist analytical disciplines in healthcare settings, such as economic evaluation (e.g. cost-effectiveness analysis, cost-benefit analysis, budget impact analysis, ROI, cost consequence analysis), mixed method evaluations, logic model development, operational research, econometrics, statistical modelling
