Main duties of the job
We are delighted to advertise for a Senior Fellow in Paediatric Emergency Medicine here at UHS.
You will be working alongside an enthusiastic team of Paediatric Emergency Medicine consultants, trainees, nurses and allied health professionals to deliver our emergency care service for the children of the Southampton area as well as working the regional Major Traume Centre. We are a busy department that sees over 35000 children a year and the single front doot for all ill and injured infants, children and young people at the trust.
This role(s) is on the dedicated CED middle grade rota. The successful applicant will deliver clinical time in CED developing their skills in Paediatric Emergency Medicine with dedicated time to develop skills in an area of their choosing ie Quality Improvement, Trauma, Simulation etc. This post would be ideal for someone who has completed basic paediatric or EM training and is keen to develop further skills in Paediatric Emergency Medicine.
