Main duties of the job

This post will be responsible for coordinating private patient/ overseas & billing activity for the Trust.

ABOUT THE TEAM
Operating hours 07:30 to 18:00 (flexible working can be considered) Saturday/evening working on a rota basis Our team is small and consists of a Service Manager, Operational Manager, Operational Team Lead, private patient/overseas and billing coordinators The team currently consists of 10 co-ordinators working across all services There will be an opportunity to work with teams and other hospital services to develop existing and new private patient and overseas services. Our overseas service has been nationally recognised for best practice by NHS improvements service structure, process & procedures.
WHAT YOULL DO Identify, processing and billing of overseas patients. Identify, processing and billing of private patients. Reporting of all private patient/overseas data to the trust for billing purposes Support the Operational manager and Operational team leader to deliver income targets to the Trust Support in the provision of training and education across the Trust for private patients and overseas services To ensure all guidelines, policies and procedures are adhered to. Resolve complex issues relating to private patient and overseas services, including minor disputes and complaints. There will be a requirement for this post to work in our other hospitals within the Trust.

- 5 GCSE (or equivalent) passes, grades A - C, including English & Maths.
- Finance, IT or business administration qualification to level 4 (AAT Technician) or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge skills and experience.
