Main duties of the job

This is an exciting and new opportunity for a Medical Oncologist with an interest and experience in Acute Oncology Service, Gynae and Urology cancers to join an innovative and dynamic team of consultants, specialty doctors and advanced nurse practitioners in the Medical Oncology Service on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Our advanced Acute Oncology Service operates 24/7 in a dedicated unit comprising 12 beds and 4 ambulatory chairs and is staffed with a mixture of dedicated Junior and Senior Fellows, a Specialty Doctor, as well as (t)ACPs. The Gynae and Urology team is comprised of five medical oncologists supported by a team of Specialist Registrars, Specialty Doctors, SHOs, AHP's and Specialist Nurses.

We're looking for a consultant to support the AOS team by providing senior decision making and drive patient flow for 3-4PAs per week, and to delivery outpatient activity for the Gynae and Urology service.
