Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced nurses to join our Cardiovascular & Thoracic operational team to undertake the responsibility for the management of the emergency and elective admission processes across the Care Group. By using your clinical experience and professional judgement you will be responsible for the safe and appropriate placement of patients together with the achievement of related Trust targets.

WHAT YOULL DO
You will be an integral part of the Cardiovascular & Thoracic (CV&T) management of patient flow in and out of the CV&T care group. You will provide a link to the management team and are instructive when escalating any patient delays. You will be the liaison between each department within CV&T, UHS footprint and the wider hospital community. You will be a key person when talking to site/ED and need to always provide correct information.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FORYou should be a registered nurse with excellent communication and organisational skills but also possess a wide range of clinical skills to support the delivery of clinical care when necessary. Please note this post will involve shift work with rotation onto days and night duty as part of a duty rota.
