Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our busy Child Psychology administration team as an Apprentice Administrative Assistant. This role is a great chance to experience different aspects of patient pathway administration undertaken in an acute hospital setting and would suit someone who is wanting to start a career in the NHS and undertake an apprenticeship - Business Admin Level 3 - a nationally recognised qualification.

You will gain knowledge and skills in customer care working as part of our friendly and diverse team. We offer a full training and induction package, and you will be supported throughout your journey by a workplace mentor.

We are looking to recruit someone who has the drive and determination to succeed, who is eager to learn from others and gain valuable knowledge and experience within the workplace. We ideally require someone who likes to work as part of a team, wants to grow in confidence and learn more about working within the NHS

  • Supporting clinical psychologists, office manager and medical secretary with the day-to-day administration within the department. Responsible for providing admin support and undertaking general administration duties within the department including answering the telephones and responding to generic emails.
  • Provide an excellent customer service to patients, relatives/carers and to external agencies
