Are you a registered pharmacy technician looking for a new challenge and a chance to expand your knowledge and experience working at ward level? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic, forward thinking team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking to recruit a band 5 pharmacy technician however would also consider a band 4 pharmacy technician looking for professional development opportunities to advance toward band 5. We would consider part time applications.
Any suitable band 4 applicants will be recruited into a developmental band 4 pharmacy technician post whereby you will be given support and training in order to complete set competencies in order to become a band 5 pharmacy technician. The expected timeframe to undertake and complete relevant competencies is between 6 months to a year.

You will be a key member of a range of teams across the department and the hospital, supporting busy wards and clinical areas, working closely with a range of health care professionals and our extensive Pharmacist team. Your work will include:
