Job summary
Within Ophthalmology at UHS we have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Medical Retina nurse specialist team. We have a robust in house practical training programme and also use resources and courses from other sites to ensure a well rounded programme. Within the first 12 months in post the successful candidate would be delivering intravitreal injections independently and undertaking virtual patient reviews. There would also be face to face clinic time with the eventual aim of assessing a face to face cohort of patients independently. Increasing our nurse compliment in this service allows us to intensively case manage these patients and ensure they are at the heart of the service.
