Job summary

The Wessex Cancer Alliance (hosted by UHS from 1st December 2023) works across the geography of Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight with the constituent organisations to improve outcomes and experiences for people with cancer.

We are looking for a project manager to work alongside teams to support the personalised care agenda across cancer pathways, spanning all care settings. The post holder will form part of a small team within the WCA Personalised Care Programme and will hold their own portfolio of projects they will manage and support. The post holder should be a self-starter and will need to work collaboratively with various stakeholders across the NHS in primary, secondary and community care, ICBs, other organisations and with experts by experience. The role will aim to facilitate and ensure a coordinated effort to enable the integration of meaningful, personalised support for people with cancer in Wessex.

This post may suit a clinician with experience in quality improvement/project management who wants to expand their experience in a new role, alternatively, applications would be welcomed from experienced project managers. An interest in personalised care is essential.
