This is a key role in the implementation of our new Business Intelligence strategy. You will join the organisation as we procure and implement a new set of BI tools and associated data warehouse, managing a team of specialists in one of the largest acute NHS Trusts in the country. You and your team will be responsible for the production, assurance, development and promotion of analytical services to internal and external stakeholders. Working closely with a wide range of people, areas and disciplines, communication and management experience will be key.
This role will suit an experienced information professional who is passionate about servicing and developing innovative information and analytics that support high-quality patient care and clinical services. You will:

Joining a large team of analysts, we will be continuing our progress in the automation of regular reporting and increasing our advanced analytics proposition to the trust. To achieve this, we work in a hybrid working environment from both home and onsite, with the expectation that colleagues are on site some of the time to maintain effective teamwork.

What you will doYou will: As a Lead member of the team, help manage the prioritisation, planning and delivery of existing and future (advanced) analyses. Deliver mandatory changes and agreed corporate strategic information developments in own area, including new projects and new reporting processes for both clinical and non-clinical analytics. Provide professional support, advice and guidance to Divisional and Trust Headquarters colleagues on all aspects of information, including data capture, coding and classification, HRG grouping, information analysis, reporting, quality and NHS data standards. Liaise with Business Intelligence development colleagues to ensure that work programmes are defined cross-team working is effectively planned and key project outputs are achieved. Manage and develop a small team of analysts to ensure the delivery of departmental and Trust projects.
