Job summary

We currently have an opportunity for the role of Referral to Treatment Data Analyst in Cardiovascular and Thoracic.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Cardiothoracic service to help with the implementation and delivery of a smooth and effective service through the impact of data quality. The role will cover the Cardiac, Thoracic, ACHD, Vascular and Cardiology services and offers a range of different experiences and specialities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator with experience in pathway monitoring. Experience with 18 week RTT targets and Cancer Waiting Times targets will be of benefit but is not essential.

The role has an emphasis EBS list management, Electrophysiology clinic monitoring and Advice and Guidance delivery across the department. All department specific training will be provided in house.

Previous experience of working with the NHS is desirable, as you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of NHS treatment targets. You will support the RTT Validation & Access Officer validate monthly data submissions, and regularly monitoring data for the department. The successful applicant supervises and supports a small bookings team and help with the clinic management of our electrophysiology service. The appointee will be the departmental expert for EBS related queries, managing the worklists on EBS as well as the advice and guidance service for the department.

If you are an enthusiastic individual with a logical approach and a flexible outlook you may wish to join our busy and challenging department.

This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to focus across large amounts of data. The role is varied and busy, spanning across multiple specialities. You will need to have a flexible approach to a demanding workload with changing priorities.

An understanding of the clinical environment and previous experience in administration would be beneficial but not essential.
