Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a busy and innovative employee relations team in an admin capacity. There is an opportunity to either develop in an admin capacity or a HR capacity through apprenticeships.
You will be one of 10 people and you will provide admin support to the rest of the team who provide employee relations service to the Trust's 14000 employees. This is seen as a developmental role for someone who wants to continue to develop their skills and knowledge in an HR environment whilst working in an admin capacity. This is a fast-paced department where every day is different and will give you the opportunity to learn the best HR practices.
Your key strengths will be your attention to detail and organisational skills as you will be arranging complex meetings with numerous managers, and preparing and sending out hearing packs. You should have strong communication skills both verbal and written as you will be taking first-line queries by phone and managing a generic email inbox. You will also need to have good Microsoft Office skills including Excel and touch typing skills. You will be expected to work in a confidential capacity and take notes at meetings as well as handle 1st line queries and responses.
