Job summary
We are seeking to employ a highly motivated and proactive individual to fulfil the role of Database and Service Coordinator for the Adult PCD Service.
You will need to be able to demonstrate good organisational skills. Have an excellent working knowledge of using data bases and excel spreadsheets. You will need to be able to coordinate the multidisplinary teams around diary management and outside meetings.
The PCD (PCD is Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia) Team is a small but rapidly expanding Team, and works closely with the Cystic Fibrosis Team. The core working hours for this role will be Monday - Friday between 9am and 5pm.
Unfortunately there is no flexibility to consider a job share.

WHAT YOULL DO
- Generate reports for the PCD Team for the purpose of audit and research.
- Responsible for development of all active departmental database systems, improving accuracy and efficiency of data entry.
- Able to clean incorrectly entered data.
- Regularly generate monthly statistics, audit data, ad-hoc reports Power Point presentations and excel spreadsheets.
- Monitor data input to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Problem solve issues "from scratch" where no prior knowledge is available.
- Assist patients during incidental contacts on an occasional basis.
- Prioritise workload.
- To adhere to Trust Data Protection policy and always maintain strict patient confidentiality. This includes utilising the correct procedure for the disposal of confidential waste.

- RSA 3 word processing/typing, or equivalent.
- To be educated to GCSE (or equivalent) standard, with a pass in English.
- Microsoft Office Specialist Certification or previous working experience of Microsoft Access support in a networked environment

- Degree in computing
- Ability to audio type
- Knowledge of business and admin policies to NVQ 3 standard
