This is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance Team in a large £1bn+, high-performing, acute Foundation Trust in a fantastic location on the South Coast. This role is a key part of the finance Senior Leadership Team, providing overall financial leadership to the organisation and supporting the achievement of the Finance Team Vision.   • You will provide comprehensive technical financial advice on a broad range of complex strategic projects, including subsidiaries, financing arrangements and VAT.
  • You will provide leadership to all aspects of financial control including monthly reporting and the submission of the NHSI return as well as the annual accounts and audit.
  • You will need to have a positive attitude, be self-motivated and have the ability to understand and resolve complex financial issues. In particular, the post-holder will be driven and have the ability to deliver information and make things happen at pace.
  • A key requirement is strong communication skills with the ability to build effective and sustainable relationships across a range of stakeholders.
  • You will be able to demonstrate and live our UHS Values and share our vision and direction for the division and the trust in a spirit of collaboration and compassion.
