An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our EFCD Clinical Services Team managing our Waste and Portering Services. Its a great time to join the team and we are looking for someone to manage these services and help us deliver a new EFCD Single Point of Access service.
Managing a team of over 100 members in Portering & Waste and covering both the Southampton General Hospital and Princess Anne Site you will be key to delivering a first class service to patients through portering services, ensuring they reach their care destination, delivering equipment and medical gases. And through the waste management team, seamlessly ensuring a tidy, waste free and and sustainable environment.
We are seeking someone with the experience, skill and compassion to manage these key services, meeting Health & Safety and compliance requirements while promoting a great staff experience and Customer Service.

Facilitate the creation of a single point of action in conjunction with the leadership team and stakeholders.

Be the main point of contact and resolve issues related to the organisations loading bays and chair monthly Loading Bay Committee Meetings.

Youll have experience of leading large teams and service line management of multiple departments.
Youll also have experience managing service contracts and working with third party providers to deliver services.
