Job summary

The University Hospital Southampton Trust employ 13,000 people and recruit 3,500 candidates a year. We are looking for a Recruitment Administrator to join our Talent Acquisition Team based at Southampton General Hospital. This role is a hybrid role with partial home working available once training is complete. Training can take approximately 6 weeks.

We recruit for 100s of job roles and fill vacancies for with anything from HCA's and Porters to Phlebotomists (look that up) and Radiographers. The people we recruit make our hospitals work so we can put caring for our patients first.

You will join a team of approximately 16 people working closely with Recruitment Co-ordinators and Senior Recruiters to deliver a recruitment service to our Trust. We work fast and hard but are a very joyful team and everyone brings something different. Maybe you are great at data entry, attention to detail or speaking to customers. If you are organised and conscientious, we would like to meet you.

Qualifications / training required

Essential

  • Good standard of general education (i.e. 5 GCSE's, including English and Maths, or equivalent level of qualification)
  • NVQIII/A Level qualification (or equivalent) in a business related subject, or equivalent knowledge through relevant experience

Desirable

  • Certificate in Personnel Practice

Previous or relevant experience necessary

Essential

  • Track record of meeting objectives
  • Use of Word and Excel to an intermediate level

Desirable

  • Recent experience in a complex administrative environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role, administering recruitment and contract administration
  • Experience of working in a healthcare environment
