ABOUT THE TEAM
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is one of the country's largest teaching hospitals. It provides services to its local catchment population of 500,000 people and its growing tertiary services are provided to a population of three million across the southern counties of England including the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands
The Wessex Neurological Centre is the regional Centre for Neurosurgery, Complex Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology serving a population of approx. 3.5 million. We provide a wide range of specialist adult and paediatric services housed in both the Wessex Neurosciences Centre UHS and in OP departments across our catchment area.

The Neurosciences Admissions department has a high level of activity and experiences a heavy demand. This service serves various specialties for neurology & neurosurgery which requires complex bookings. Bookings need to be made in a timely manner. The Admissions team play a key part in patient data entry during the admissions process; this is a significant aspect of the role.
What were looking for The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work directly with a wide variety of professionals, clinical and administrative; it is a friendly, hardworking and a supportive team. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be flexible and enjoy teamwork.
