We are looking for a dynamic individual with a background in acute care to join our AKI team.
About the team
The AKI nurse team sites within the Patient Safety Team, within our Trust Head Quarters division, covering core hours. The team is both proactive- working across the organisation on reducing the incidence/ impact of AKI as well as reactive to the daily needs of the AKI inpatient population. The role works closely with the renal team, but is independent and autonomous with its own daily workload. UHS has over 1000 inpatient beds and is a regional centre a large number of services including trauma, cardiothoracic and neurosciences. This means the workload is always varied and always interesting.This is a year fixed term contract

- Degree qualification, 120 credits at L6 or possess an equivalent knowledge to be assessed through evidence of relevant specialist training, experience or portfolio
- Post registration qualification within area of speciality
- Completion of all Band 5 (preceptorship) competencies
- Higher Education Institute approved course in supporting learners in practice or evidence assessed to be of equivalent experience, demonstrating support to a range of learners in practice.
- Provide evidence of Supporting a range of learners in practice
