Job summary
The Wessex Neurological Centre (WNC) is looking for someone with an eye for detail, the ability to develop and refine processes and the confidence to work with a busy team of consultants and junior doctors. You would be joining a large, vibrant department and working with consultants, junior doctors, administrators, and management to ensure that all aspects of medical staffing are up to date and accurate. There will definitely never be a dull moment and along the way you will learn a lot about neurosciences. Working hours can be flexible across Mon Fri, we are happy to discuss a variety of options with the successful candidate.
ABOUT THE TEAM
You would have a job with the best of both worlds; full control and responsibility for your own work but also working closely with a wide range of teams. We have a team of approximately 90 medical staff across neurology, neurosurgery, stroke and neurophysiology; you will be instrumental in ensuring medical staffing policies and processes.

- Diploma level qualification, NVQ level 4 or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge across a range of administrative work procedures
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
Desirable
- Experience of Health Roster or similar IT-based roster system
- European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or equivalent
- Courses / further study attended to demonstrate evidence of personal development.
