Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Administrative Assistant to join our existing admin team who are crucial in the EHCP (education health care plan) process for children and young people who have SEND needs age 0-25 years.
You will be required to have good written and verbal communication skills as the role entails liaising with staff, clients and other agencies at all levels.
The role requires you to be a great team worker and a confident user of various computer systems.
The role is busy and can be complex at times, but full training will be provided.
The post holder will be based at Ashfield Health and Wellbeing Centre, but flexibility to work from home or other bases can be negotiated following completion of training.
Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
