Job summary
Mental Health Services for Older People provides a range of services for people with dementia, regardless of their age and those presenting with common mental health problems over the age of 65.
We have an exciting opportunity for an to work within our services based in locations across Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. Post holders will become fully conversant and competent in providing administrative support with Mental Health Services for Older People. The post holders will gain a diverse administration experience supporting a variety of teams. There will be an expectation of travel between sites within a defined geographical area.
In addition, the post holders will be given support and time to complete a level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship.
The ideal candidates would be hard working with a desire to develop a role within the NHS.
Main duties of the job
General office and administration support duties, answering the telephone, message taking, filing, photocopying, handling incoming and outgoing post. Communicating with staff and visitors on a daily basis and providing support where required.
Assisting to arrange meetings, typing letter s, electronic filing.
Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.
