Job summary
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning and Insights Manager. The role is a key strategic role based in the Trust's Planning and Partnerships Team. The post holder will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders, including clinical and corporate services to ensure that the Trust's Strategy is developed and monitored effectively, and that clinical service plans and reviews are undertaken which align to the Trust Strategy and the Trust's Integrated Improvement Plan. The post holder will also play a key role in developing and improving the Trust's strategic planning capability and processes.
Main duties of the job
As a Planning and Insights Manager you will -
Strategy Development
Periodically refresh & update the Trust's 5-year StrategyDevelop a strategic governance frameworkLead the process for monitoring of enabling strategy milestonesCommunicate with & influence a wide range of colleagues to update the Trust Strategy & maintain a communications planWork closely with the Head of Strategic Planning to develop & co-ordinate an annual business development plan for the Trust
Strategic Service Reviews
Lead the delivery of complex clinical service reviewsManage the service review pipeline, including planning & delivery of the reviews & managing delivery expectationsMaintain & continuously improve the service review frameworkTo work with other members of the Strategic Planning Team to ensure that there is good inter-connectedness between the Trust Strategy, clinical service planning & annual planning
People and Relationship Management
Influence & negotiate with other senior managers & colleagues in clinical & corporate services to shape clinical service reviewsSecure resources to support delivery of service reviews & manage resources either directly or indirectly to deliverCollaborate with external stakeholders including partners in the Integrated Care System to ensure the Trust's Strategy is aligned to the Integrated Care System StrategyDeputise for the Head of Strategic Planning to support & line manage colleagues & attend internal & external meetings as & when required
