Job summary
This is a permanent new role within the Adult Mental Health Services Care Group and is an exciting opportunity for an experienced mental health clinician to step into an impactful and challenging leadership role.
The successful candidate will bring their significant clinical experience and creative leadership to the developing multi-disciplinary clinical leadership team to meet the changing needs of our patients.
Main duties of the job
This new role will involve working with local and systems partners at an operational level to ensure the organisation can meet its responsibilities to provide effective optimal and safe care to our patients by developing capacity in safe patient step-down, urgent care offers and complex discharge systems. This ensures that patients who need care community mental health service in-put are able to access service in easily, treated as efficiently as possible and then transferred/discharged as soon as possible, adopting the ethos of right care, right time and right place.
