Job summary
We have opportunities for Bank Healthcare Assistants to join Arnold Lodge - Medium Secure Forensic Unit.
This is an excellent unit that is working towards being CQC outstanding.
Arnold Lodge provides the highest standards of evidence-based therapeutic care, which includes vocational and recreational opportunities. Clinical knowledge and expertise to ensure we consistently deliver a quality service to all the patients in our care across 3 care pathways: Male Mental Illness, Male Personality Disorder and Women's Service. Within a modern purpose built hospital which is compliant with National Medium Secure Standards.
We are looking for highly creative and motivated staff to join the team. Staff interested in working in a compassionate and inventive way and supporting the existing team in further developments. As a bank worker you can enjoy flexibility of hours and wards that you work on. We have a variety of shifts that cover the need for a 24 hour service.
There is a requirement to periodically attend training sessions and an induction that are held during the days Monday to Friday.
You must be over 18 and ideally have experience of working with adults.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for HCA's who can demonstrate experience gained in a role supporting people with significant health or social care needs. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how mental health issues can affect people and be flexible and adaptable to change. Experience of working as part of a team is also important as well as your ability to lead others in delivering specific interventions.
Service User involvement it as the heart of the work we do to ensure the unit meets the needs of all its patients.
The wards have highly skilled multi-disciplinary teams who work closely together to ensure excellence in service delivery.
