Job summary
The role requires an experienced individual, with qualifications and previous experience in the day to day management of staff. The post holder will have excellent communication, organisation and time management skills and personal credibility. The role requires a Clinical Admin Management with the ability to provide an excellent confidential and efficient service.
Main duties of the job
To provide the Ward Managers provision of a high level, efficient and comprehensive secretarial and administrative service including line management responsibilities for Ward Clerks, Procurement Administrator, Medical Records Administrator and E-Rostering Administrator. Providing and co-ordinating a high level, efficient, comprehensive and confidential supervisor and administration service.
To provide cover and support for other administrative staff in the Unit as required.
The postholder will need to liaise directly with Ward Managers, and other Departments such as Medical Records to ensure administrative requirements are prioritised and undertaken as required.
