Job summary
The post holder will provide a high level, efficient, comprehensive, and confidential administrative support service to City North Local Adult Mental Health in Nottingham.
In our very busy patient focus service as a receptionist, the role requires an individual who has an outgoing, friendly, and confident personality to deal with a range of clients attending our service. The priority will be to provide an excellent communication service over the telephone and face to face. Signposting and taking accurate messages, the individual must therefore have a flexible approach to work and the ability to prioritise and work on their own initiative.
Please note this post does not meetskilllevel required for a Skilled worker visa. Main duties of the job
To work as part of a local administrative team the role will be primarily to meet and greet clients from our reception area. This will involve receiving incoming calls and taking messages as well as dealing with clients visiting the service and responding to their needs.
The role will also include basic office duties as well as opening and distributing mail, data entry, photocopying, electronic filing as well as general administration support to the clinical team.

To receive and make internal and external telephone calls from staff, service users / patients, members of the public and external agencies ensuring that messages received are appropriately signposted and actioned.
Managing and disseminating incoming mail.
To implement and maintain adequate filing and follow up systems. Filing, photocopying, scanning and uploading documents.
Transfer of individual and bulk files for archiving between locations
Data entry and typing correspondence using Microsoft packages.
Working as a team to provide cover for sickness and annual leave, as and when required.
Identify health and safety practices that are appropriate to self and others.
To participate in appropriate training courses and updates in accordancewith mandatory requirements and undertake a personal developmentplan My Annual Review.
To undertake any other duties that would be a reasonable expectation of the role.
