The post holder will be responsible for running specific projects associated with the delivery of our new digital strategy. They will provide overall project management and co-ordination of all activities within these projects with responsibility for scoping, planning, design and delivery of agreed projects within time, cost and quality constraints. They will contribute to the maturity of the service through bringing their experience and learning of project management. They will work closely with our CCIO and the Division Digital leads, IT disciplines and relevant internal and external stakeholders. Management and interworking with partner agencies and external suppliers is also required.

Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to work within the Digital Programme Management Office (PMO). We require a reliable, flexible and motivated individual with excellent project management skills to join a team of Programme Managers, Project Managers and Business Analysts. As part of the role you will be expected to work on a range of Trust-wide informatics related projects and will liaise closely with the wider business to ensure that projects support the achievement of organisational aims and objectives. This will involve working across many different care settings / locations both within the Trust and the wider local health community. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of informatics projects including the deployment of local and national initiatives. You will be involved in all stages of the project life cycle from requirements gathering to implementation and should have experience of managing multiple projects at any one time.

Stakeholder management will be key as you will be working with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders at all levels to ensure that appropriate business process and operational changes are embedded across the organisation.
