Job summary
We are looking to recruit a full time Mortality Governance Administrator. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Administrator to join our team to provide a variety of administrative tasks who will be able to work as a key member of the team with a flexible approach. The role involves administrative and clerical support, event management and Datix support.
You will need good IT and literacy skills particularly in Microsoft applications, providing basic analysis to help improve mortality governance, an excellent eye for detail and have recent experience of administration. The successful post holder should possess excellent organisational and initiative skills, work proactively and methodically under pressure, manage multiple priorities, apply a high degree of confidentiality to all their work and be an excellent communicator.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will provide support for the governance framework for learning from deaths.
This includes:
- Providing administrative support for the Mortality Governance Team
- Minute taking and action log from Mortality Governance Team meetings and
- System administrator for Mortality Governance module on Datix and Spike
- Coordinate and administrate relevant training and learning
- Being the point of contact for any queries relating to the Trust's Learning from Deaths programme.
- The post holder will be required to work independently using initiative and applying a high degree of confidentiality to all their work. To undertake non-routine duties without direct supervision, working within broad procedural guidelines.
