This post is eligible for a Golden Hello payment of £2,750 for new starters who are external to the Trust. This is payable in 3 instalments over a 2 year period. This payment is only eligible to new starters who do not already hold a contract of employment with the Trust and have not been an employee of the Trust in the previous 3 years. This post also includes paid enhancements for unsocial hours working during night, weekends and bank holidays.
Main duties of the job
We have two exciting opportunities as a Band 6 Respiratory Physiotherapist with a special interest in Respiratory services, one post at 1.0 and one post at 0.8, to join the Mid-Notts respiratory team to plan, prepare and support the delivery of Pulmonary Rehabilitation programmes, and work both in clinics and the home environment for this cohort of patients in the Newark and Sherwood area and a second post in the Mansfield and Ashfield area, but there will be times when working across these two areas are needed to meet the needs of the service in the Mid- Notts portfolio.
The Mid-Notts respiratory Service is a community based team, which provides holistic and multidisciplinary evidence based support for respiratory patients in the Mid-Notts area.This service includes Specialist Community Respiratory Nurses, the Home Oxygen Service and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Working in partnership with other community teams, primary care and close support from Respiratory Consultants in secondary care. We aim to improve quality of life and promote self-management for respiratory patients through comprehensive holistic interventions.
A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
