Job summary

An opportunity has risen for motivated individuals to join our busy Housekeeping Services team at Lings Bar Hospital as a bank member of staff, providing a high quality service that enhances the care of our patients.

Previous experience of working within a Housekeeping, Domestic or Cleaning environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Main duties of the job

You will be part of the Housekeeping Team providing as and when required cover within the housekeeping team across three inpatient wards.

To maintain a high quality patient and customer focused service within the Facilities areas delivering a high standard in cleanliness, infection prevention, provision of safe, nutritious food in line with hygiene legislation ensuring that patients on the ward have access to food and fluids, to be aware of associated health and safety issues and to participate in planned mandatory and professional training.
