Due to service re-structuring and retirement we have two exciting band 7 Occupational Therapist roles available. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape occupational therapy within Rampton High Secure Hospital. The roles will lead either the National High secure services for men with Learning Disabilities and Women's services, OR male Mental Illness and Personality Disorder.
You will be a clinical leader in the Therapies and Education Service (TES). TES is an innovative therapy service comprising of OTs, technical instructors, therapeutic involvement workers, education staff, SLTs, health and fitness, vocational staff and peer support workers.

Main duties of the job
The Therapy and Education Service at Rampton Hospital prides itself on providing an effective and needs-led service. We offer a range of occupational, educational and vocational services for patients, and you will play a key role in shaping and leading these services.
You will work closely with day unit Managers and the Occupational Therapy Professional Lead in the clinical leadership of two occupational therapy teams.
You will manage a caseload of complex patients, working within multi-disciplinary teams ensuring that high quality individualized care is provided and delivered.
You will effectively delegate responsibilities within the therapy service.
You will provide specialist advice, support and clinical supervision to other staff and students.
You will have responsibility for practice development within Occupational Therapy and lead on other service and quality improvement initiatives.
