Rampton Hospital, part of the Forensic Division within the Trust, is an award-winning hospital, and is one of only three high secure hospitals in England.

We are the only hospital in the country to provide high secure care to patients who are women, who are deaf or who have Learning Disabilities, alongside our Mental Health and Personality Disorder treatment pathways.

For the first time, Rampton Hospital is now recruiting new bank workers making this an amazing opportunity to pick up some extra hours in a unique setting.

Bank is a flexible form of working in which you can book shifts as and when suits you. It also gives you the opportunity to work with a wide variety of teams and specialisms.

Main duties of the job

Rampton Hospital has 24 wards offering comprehensive assessment and recovery focused individualised care and treatment packages for patients who experience a mental health disorder, personality disorder or learning disabilities combined with a history of offending behaviour.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable Registered Mental Health Nurses & Learning Disability Nurses to join the Trust Bank providing support to wards and patients. We are looking for Staff Nurses who are resilient, passionate about nursing and patient centred. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and understand the need for developing positive therapeutic relationships with our patient group.

  • Maintains current registration with the NMC

  • Specialist and area specific experience.

Training
