An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Occupational Therapist within Adult Mental Health Services (AMH) working within in-patient services based at Highbury Hospital
You will be responsible for ensuring a robust OT service is provided at Highbury Hospital AMH services, providing OT professional advice and OT professional supervision; and contributing to service improvements. You will lead the Maples therapy department which will support a range of AHPs.
You will closely link with the OT lead based at Sherwood Oaks.
AMH provides a range of services across Nottinghamshire including in patients, crisis and community services. We are currently undergoing a transformation programme in line with the NHS long term plan - your involvement in this will be very welcome.
Main duties of the job
Applicants should be an Occupational Therapist with experience of leadership in mental health areas and highly motivated to deliver an excellent service.In return we will support and facilitate your development in this role through regular supervision and a personal development plan tailored to your needs and experience.
