Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Lead in Nottinghamshire CAMHS Liaison Psychiatry.

CAMHS Liaison receives referrals from NUH, Kingsmill and Bassetlaw Hospitals, this is therefore a busy team. The post holder will work alongside the second clinical lead ensuring clinical pathways across all hospitals are developed, training packages are rolled out, relationships will be fostered with the acute providers to encourage learning and collaboration, and the highest quality of care for young people will be delivered.

The clinical lead will work closely alongside the Operational Team Lead for CAMHS Liaison.

Main duties of the job

CAMHS Liaison will work closely with other community/inpatient CAMHS Teams, and the wider A&E/Paediatric Ward Teams across all three hospitals in Nottinghamshire. Nottinghamshire CAMHS also have a highly skills CAMHS Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team, and the maintenance of relationships to ensure smooth transitions for young people will be essential.

The post holder will offer clinical leadership and expertise to the wider team, role modelling skills and experience, and strengthening learning. The post holder will be part of key steering group relevant to clinical strategy work with Service Mangers to transform services when required in line with national and local direction.

The Post Holder will be required to contribute to the Bronze on Call rota.
