Job summary
The Neurodevelopmental Specialist Service (NeSS) brings together ourpreviousadult autism and adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) services into one combined service.
We provide:
- diagnostic assessments for autism and ADHD
- support to understand the conditions
- short-term support for issues related to autism or ADHD
- medication to treat ADHD, which will then be managed by yourGP
- advice and signposting toadditional support including mental health services if needed
This service has been live since April 2021, and we are now looking to further recruit . We are a busy team and forward looking and welcome new ideas and promote opportunities for service development.
Main duties of the job
This is a fulfilling role with excellent clinical support in the team and directorate
You will be a integral part of the therapeutic pathway and Psychology team , assessing referrals for appropriateness, supporting assistant Psychologists, delivering groups as required, supervision and training of staff and other tasks as required within this multi disciplinary team.
