Job summary
We are looking for a motivated, committed and talented analyst to support customers with their information needs across our NHS Trust. We develop high quality information provision and analysis to assist with performance monitoring, improve patient outcomes and ensure that business aims are met. Recently we have provided vital data to aid the Trust's Coronavirus crisis response.
Our department provides a great opportunity to learn and use the latest information technologies including SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, QGIS and Power BI in a supportive environment. We offer a training package to new starters as well as the opportunity to attend the annual SQL Bits conference, which is a great way to discover the latest developments in database technologies.
Main duties of the job
Using your coding and analysis expertise you will help decision makers to solve complex problems. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build effective relationships with our internal departments. Our NHS Trust supplies a broad range of healthcare services to patients and so curiosity, initiative and sensitivity to each customer's needs will enable progression within this role.
You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience. You may have worked in previous analytics roles, collaborating on data extraction, analysis and information reporting. You are familiar with using SQL/T-SQL or have equivalent coding skills. These technical abilities will be combined with an attention to detail and a confidence to prioritise your own workload whilst remaining calm under pressure.
We reserve the right to close the advert when a certain number of applications has been reached.
