Job summary

You will be working in a fast-paced clinic providing an efficient, high quality service to a large NHS trust. It is essential you have previous experience in a busy office environment with the ability to work as part of a team.

You will need to have GCSE qualifications or equivalent in Maths & English, and an RSA / OCR Level 3 Word Processing or Typing qualification or equivalent.

Main duties of the job

The role requires applicants to

  • have excellent communication skills to deal with patients, clinicians, and line managers, using email, face to face contact and by phone
  • good IT skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook, along with web-based patient reporting systems.

This is a very busy role which will require you to be organised and efficient to meet regular deadlines and targets. It also requires the ability to be proactive and reprioritise work on a regular basis due to conflicting, demanding deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with information and enquiries in a tactful manner and the ability to work with various members of the community integrated team.
