This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Specialist Tissue Viability Team, covering services across Nottinghamshire Healthcare Foundation Trust.
We will provide a supportive environment, managerial and clinical support to work towards a bespoke Tissue Viability competency package. This will be supported by the Tissue Viability Matron, Tissue Viability Specialist Nurses, and wider Tissue Viability Team.
You will be part of a dynamic and supportive specialist team. This post is ideally suited to someone seeking a new challenge, who is innovative, motivated and keen to develop their Tissue Viability knowledge and skills further.
Base: The Dukeries Business Centre, Worksop S80 2PU
Hours: 37.5 Hrs, working hours are 9 - 5 Monday - Friday
There is a requirement to cover the Trusts geographical footprint, and the ability to travel Trustwide is essential for this post.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will hold a degree level Tissue Viability qualification (or relevant, demonstrable knowledge and experience), and have excellent communication, organisational and inter-personal skills, being able to work autonomously, as well as part of a team. You will work in collaboration with the Tissue Viability Matron and wider Tissue Viability Team to deliver quality, evidence based care, and develop Tissue Viability services across Nottinghamshire Healthcare.
The successful candidate will play a significant role in supporting staff Trustwide to manage and prevent wounds across the following services: in - patient, Community and Care Home settings. There will be requirement to travel often and provide Tissue Viability services Trustwide, across 3 Divisions, Community Health Services, Mental Health and Forensic and Offender Health Divisions.
