Job summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to join our Logistics Health Records Team undertaking dailyretrieval for healthcare provider clients using our O'Neil Records Management System.
You will work as part of a small Health Records Team working 7.5 hours per day Monday- Friday.
We are based at Derwent House. Osmaston Park Industrial Estate, Gosforth Road (off Ascot Drive) Derby, DE24 8HU.
Main duties of the job
Our main duties daily are to receive, retrieve and despatch Health Records for Healthcare clients.
There is an element of lifting and manual handling involved in this job role, so physical fitness is required.
Throughout the course of the day the job role itself is very repetitive and would suit a person who enjoys a structured working day and also is able to communicate politely and effectively at all levels.

Job responsibilities
1. To provide general office/warehouse and administration support services.
2. To undertake retrieval and distribution of medical records for various clients using the O'Neil records management system. The work is repetitive and requires accuracy and would suit a person that enjoys a daily routine.
3. Communicate clearly with staff and visitors daily, providing support where required and resolving issues.
4. To work in a warehouse environment and have an understanding of Health & Safety as there is a physical requirement to lift and handle boxes daily.
5. Assist with tasks and duties of other staff members during periods of Annual Leave in order to ensure that an effective quality service is maintained at all times.
6. To record and securely store information relating to confidential matters and enquiries utilizing general data protection regulations (GDPR).
7. Undertake all mandatory training.
8. To undertake 1-1 bi-monthly meetings with mentor on site.
9. To contribute to the administrative work within the team.
10. To gain an understanding of how the team functions by providing support as required whilst gaining knowledge and experience and by undertaking training in the following: NVQ Level 2 Warehouse Qualification.
11. Staff should be aware of their own individual responsibilities under the Trust equal opportunities policy and ensure that they adhere to the provisions of the policy.
