Job summary
We have a number of exciting opportunities for Clinical or Counselling Psychologists within our Community Mental Health Services for Older People in Nottinghamshire. We are able to offer full and part time hours and also have temporary (maternity leave cover) positions. Posts are advertised at Band 8a, however we welcome applications from applicants who are approaching qualification, newly qualified or if you are interested in a preceptorship arrangement.
Main duties of the job
Mental Health Services for Older People (MHSOP) is an established directorate within the Trust and psychology is highly valued within this. We are engaged in a number of service development programmes, including pathways for psychological therapies, SMI and complex emotional needs. In parallel, the directorate is reviewing the provision of psychologically informed care, staff training to support this work and embedding new roles to facilitate the delivery of psychological interventions at different levels. Psychologists are integral to this process and future post holders would have opportunities to both support and participate in these developments. The work described above is cross directorate and includes other partnership organisations and providers.
