Job summary

(0.2 TWE) Clinical Lead SLT to the crisis pathway within the adults with IDD Speech & Language Therapy Service in Nottinghamshire.

You will be providing clinical leadership to the Speech & Language Therapy teams working across community crisis and inpatient services.

You will additionally be involved in the strategic Speech & Language Therapy leadership focusing on reducing health inequalities and enabling care for adults with complex needs including mental health needs.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be providing a clinical leadership to the Speech & Language Therapists working in diverse teams across the pathway.

Duties include:

  • Clinical supervision and support
  • Strategic leadership and clinical governance support to SLT pathway.
  • Representation at appropriate forums across Nottinghamshire NHS Foundation Trust and other stakeholder meetings.
  • Second opinion on clinical needs for complex cases.
